A marketplace lives on trust. You can check services and reviews before they go live, and act on what members report. Here is how. You need a site running the free WP Sell Services plugin. It takes about four minutes. There are four steps. Turn on the checks. Approve services. Moderate reviews. Act on member reports. Step one. Turn on the checks. Open Settings, then Vendor Settings. Service Moderation holds new services for your approval. Review Moderation holds new reviews until you approve them. Save at the foot of the section. Step two. Approve services. Open Moderation. Tabs show Pending, Approved and Rejected, and Pending lists services waiting for you. Each row has Approve and Reject. Approve puts the service live. Neither is clicked here. Step three. Moderate reviews. Open Review Moderation. Pending lists reviews waiting, with the rating, the review and the service. Approve publishes a review. Reject keeps it off the service page. Neither is clicked here. Step four. Act on member reports. Open Member reports. Needs review lists what members flagged, with the reason and who filed it. Uphold agrees with a report.
