Two people disagree, and you are the referee. Read what the seller says, then pick a resolution both sides can accept. Here is how. You need a site running the free WP Sell Services plugin. It takes about four minutes. There are four steps. See the seller side. Open the dispute as the owner. Choose the resolution. Set the dispute timing. Step one. See the seller side. A seller opens Disputes in the dashboard and sees each dispute against them. Opening one shows the Reason, the Activity, and Messages and evidence. The seller adds a message or a file here, or asks for a reviewer. Step two. Open the dispute as the owner. Now as the owner. Open Sell Services, then Disputes. The tabs sort them by status. Each dispute shows its order, the amount, who is involved, and how long it has been open. Step three. Choose the resolution. Open a dispute. Dispute Details and Messages and evidence hold what each side said. The Resolution box is where you decide, with a Decision note. Update Dispute saves it. It is not clicked here. Step four. Set the dispute timing. In Settings, Orders and Disputes, Response Window sets how many days a seller has to answer. Reminder After sends a nudge, and Auto-Escalate After passes an unanswered dispute to you. Dispute Notifications Email is where new disputes are announced. That is all four. The seller side seen, the dispute opened as the owner, the resolution chosen, and the timing set. A fair hearing for both sides. Next in this series: Control how and when sellers are paid.
