A marketplace is only as good as its sellers. You can let anyone join, or approve each person, and manage them all from one screen. Here is how. You need the free WP Sell Services plugin. It takes about three minutes. There are four steps. Choose how sellers join. See the sign-up page. Find your sellers. Manage a seller. Step one. Choose how sellers join. Open Settings, then Vendor Settings. Vendor Registration decides who can sign up as a seller. Max Services per Vendor caps how many listings one seller can have. Service Moderation and Review Moderation let you check new work before it goes live. Save at the foot of the section. Step two. See the sign-up page. This is what a member sees at Become a Vendor, with what they get, and how it works. Register as Vendor sends the application. It is not clicked here. Step three. Find your sellers. Open Vendors. Tabs sort them into All, Active, Pending and Suspended. Pending lists people who have applied, here Isabel Ruiz and Samuel Adeyemi, until you decide. Step four. Manage a seller. Each applicant row has Approve and Reject. Approve makes them a seller. Neither is clicked here. On an active seller, the row links are View, Edit User and Suspend. Suspend is not clicked here. That is all four. How sellers join chosen, the sign-up page seen, your sellers found, and one managed. You choose who sells. Next in this series: Start selling your skills on your own site.
